Breathtaking landscapes unfold as you cycle through northern Israel, encircle the Sea of Galilee and ascend to Israel’s highest elevation. Visiting Jewish and Christian historic sites along the way, you’ll get to pedal around nature reserves and orchards, and explore Israel’s wineries that have earned the Holy Land international agricultural accolades. As you stop to recharge, don’t forget to get a taste of modern, eclectic Israel and its bustling local marketplaces.

Day 1: Welcome to Israel

  • Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport, meet your guide and proceed to Kibbutz Gesher Haziv
  • Check into the hotel and have dinner at the main dining room

Day 2: Gesher Ha Ziv to Safed 

  • Start the day with a ride along the coast of Israel, through the Ackziv and Rosh Ha Nikra Nature Reserves.
  • Begin to climb toward the Upper Galilee, along Israel’s northern border, overlooking the Lebanon Mountains
  • Rest with a light lunch at the Bara’m national park, and visit the ruins of the ancient city
  • Continue through the vineyards and orchards to the Kabbalistic town of Tzfat
  • Spend the evening in the historic center of Tzfat, and take a walking tour of the ancient allies and synagogues

Day 3: Safed to Mt. Hermon

  • Begin the day at the top of the Galilee Mountains. Pass several local villages then descend to the historical site of Tel Hai
  • Continue along the streams leading to The Jordan River to the Roman city of Banias
  • Ascend up to Mt Hermon
  • Enjoy an authentic Druze lunch
  • Continue to Kibbutz Merom Golan in the northern Golan Heights

Day 4: The Golan Heights, the Sea of Galilee and Mt. Tabor 

  • Ride across the plains of the Golan Heights, with its green fields, black rocky hills and small streams crossing under the road
  • Tour around the Sea of Galilee with its historical and Holy Christian sites
  • Stop for a visit at the Jordan River, and begin to climb from the lake up towards the lower Galilee
  • Climb to the top of Mt Tabor, and visit the Holy TransfigurationMonastery
  • Ride down to Kfar Tabor where we will spend the night, and enjoy a drink at the local winery

Day 5: Kfar Tabor to Mt. Carmel

  • Pass several historic villages and towns in the Jezreel valley, where the first pioneers of the state of Israel settled in the beginning of the last century
  • Continue to the footsteps of the Biblical Carmel, and climb the Horn of Carmel, where the Prophet Elijah contested the Ba’al
  • Stop for lunch in Dlaiyat El Carmel, and explore the local market
  • End your tour at the port city of Haifa, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea
  • Enjoy dinner at the hotel, and toast the end of the tour

Day 6: Departure

  • Enjoy the morning in Haifa on your own
  • Check out and transfer to Ben Gurion airport for your departure flight
