In this innovation tour travelers get a first-hand experience of the Start- Up Nation that is Israel. They meet industry leaders from small startups and large multi-nationals, hear from media experts, and interact with the people who bring to the world cutting-edge research.  Exploring the bubbling innovation scene takes travelers to industry and academia, the bustling streets of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, and some of country’s best restaurants, where they break bread with the next generation of the world’s technology talent.



  • Visit leading startup and technology companies

  • Walk through the markets and alleyways of Jerusalem’s Old City
  • Join a culinary tour at Mahane Yehuda Market 


Day 1, Sunday:     

  • Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport late afternoon and proceed to Tel Aviv
  • Start with a welcome drink at the hotel bar and meet with journalist who will speak about the current major issues facing Israel
  • Enjoy dinner at a chef restaurant, with graduates from IDF’s elite Talpiot Program, that are currently involved in creating their own start ups

Overnight:  Royal Beach Hotel, Tel Aviv.


Day 2, Monday:

  • Meet with a political correspondent for a briefing on the aftermath of the Israeli elections
  • Visit the EMIS International High School that cultivates personal leadership, entrepreneurship and community involvement and service
  • Continue to Tel Aviv Port and meet with one of the founders of the harbor Farmer’s Market
  • Enjoy lunch at Kitchen Market restaurant– a contemporary restaurant, situated in the top floor of the harbor market
  • Visit Microsoft R&D Accelerator
  • Proceed to Lod and visit ReLod – JFMD supported program to encourage students to live and work in the periphery
  • Tour the newly restored Sarona combines a unique architectural history with a dynamic urban experience

Day 3, Tuesday:

  • Hear a briefing on the “roots” of Israeli entrepreneurship
  • Visit startups in the Rothschild Boulevard area
  • Continue to Zell Entrepreneurship Program at the IDC Herzliya College, and interact with the program’s students while they present their start ups
  • Visit to Waze a GPS-based geographical navigation application program for smartphones, which was acquired by Google in 2013
  • Proceed to Haifa by way of route 6. Explore the seam line , and learn about the challenges Israel is facing along this seam line and see the controversial security fence

Overnight: Dan Carmel Hotel, Haifa.


Day 4, Wednesday:

  • Visit to the Technion, located on the campus on Mt. Carmel, and explore the demonstration center shows the vital links between education, research and industry
  • Travel to Yokne’am and visit ReWalk Medical Technologies that develops manufactures and markets walk restoration devices for people with lower limb disabilities
  • Proceed to NaserahTech Accelerator in the city of Nazareth, focusing on hi-tech and start-ups in the Israeli Arab Sector
  • Enjoy dinner in a Hanaton winery and meet with a Consulting Winemaker and with participants of the Tabor Pre Military leadership academy “Mechina”
  • Travel to Jerusalem

Overnight: Mamilla Hotel, Jerusalem.


Day 5, Thursday:

  • Meet with partners of OurCrowd – an equity-based crowdfunding platform
  • Visit Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP), an international venture capital firm, specializing in investments in startup companies
  • Enjoy falafel lunch enroute to the Old City
  • Optional touring:
    • Walking tour of the Old City of Jerusalem as a center of Judaism, Christianity and Islam
    • Bike riding in and around the Old City
  • Join a short culinary tour at Mahane Yehuda Market followed by light closing dinner at the new Haba Bakery
  • Depart for Airport
