AM arrival in Israel; transfer to Kfar Rupin, birding en route. Dinner and overnight Kfar Rupin.
Kfar Rupin and the Beit Shean Valley. Spend the day at the birding center at Kfar Rupin, home to incredible numbers of wintering species including but not limited to Pallas’s Gull, Dead Sea Sparrow, Black Storks, Great Spotted Eagle. Dinner and overnight at Kibbutz.
Morning drive north towards Agamon Hachula En route take time for Birding the Sea of Galilee region, the southern Golan and several lesser known sites to view specialty species Long billed Pipit and more. Take a “mobile hide” (ATV) tour – it is a great experience. Overnight Hula Valley region . Dinner and overnight different Kibbutz.
Sunrise mobile ride tour – breakfast and up to the Northern Golan and the lower Mt. Hermon, very important for specialties such as Somber Tit, Rock Bunting, Syrian Serin, Rock Nuthatch… Afternoon departure for the Negev. Dinner and overnight at Kibbutz.
Early morning Nitzana then drive to Eilat birding sites en route in the southern Negev for larks and more. Dinner and overnight Eilat.
Early morning visit to the Eilat Bird Center and full day of birding in the Southern Arava and Eilat sites. Dinner and overnight Eilat.
More sites near Eilat, Yotvata, Lotan and more. Afternoon drive to Jerusalem, via the Dead Sea for the Dead Sea specialties such as fan tailed Raven, Tristram’s Starling. Dinner and overnight Jerusalem.
Early morning visit to the Jerusalem Bird Observatory on the Knesset grounds, an incredible Urban Birding destination. Late morning tour of Jerusalem highlights , Mount Of Olives, The Kidron Valley , Mt. Zion and the old city ( no birds ) – Dinner and overnight Jerusalem.
Transfer to the Airport for flight back home.
