On Saturday, October 7, 2023 Israel was brutally attacked by Hamas terrorists who violently killed innocent civilians and decimated southern Israeli communities. Thousands of Israelis were murdered, terrorized, injured, and kidnapped.
Today, rockets and mortar fire continue to rain down on Israel. Hostages are still being held in Gaza. The IDF is unrelenting in its campaign to eradicate Hamas.
Israel needs your help.
Volunteering in Israel during this very challenging time sends a strong message of support and lets our Israeli brothers and sisters know they are not alone. Solidarity missions boost morale, build resilience, increase understanding, and strengthen the ties that bind diaspora Jews and Israelis together.

CUSTOM GROUP VOLUNTEER/SOLIDARITY MISSION WITH KENES TOURS
Plan a volunteer/solidarity experience tailor-made for your group
This mission choice is best suited for synagogue groups, Jewish organizational groups, federation groups, or family/friend groups that want to craft a custom volunteer/solidarity experience. You’ll work with Kenes Tours to select dates, choose volunteer opportunities, coordinate meetings, and plan community visits that meet your group’s unique objectives.
Mission Highlights Might Include:
- Exclusive geo-strategic briefings with top military experts
- Visits to hospitals treating wounded soldiers, civilians, or returned hostages
- Meetings with evacuees and others displaced by the war
- Encounters with IDF soldiers, security forces, and reserve units
- Visits to destroyed communities and war-affected areas (subject to security and safety guidelines)
- Engagements with partnership communities (if applicable)
- Opportunities to witness how the homefront is protecting itself from threats
- Hands-on local volunteer opportunities

JEWISH NATIONAL FUND–USA SCHEDULED VOLUNTEER MISSION
Volunteer and connect with like-minded people on a ready-made JNF-USA experience.
This mission choice is best suited for individuals, couples, or smaller groups who want to sign up and go! You’ll join others from across the United States for a pre-planned experience through a JNF lens. When you aren’t getting your hands dirty volunteering, you’ll connect with people throughout the Gaza envelope.
JNF-USA has selected Kenes Tours to manage all logistical operations for these missions.
Mission Highlights:
- Spend time with evacuees and the people who are providing lifesaving efforts to support them.
- Take part in community service, helping with anything needed from cooking to assistance in the daycares, laundry, or cleaning up.
- Work together with HaShomer HaChadash in farms, picking vegetables and other crops, to help prevent a massive shortage in the Israeli market and so that no farmer is left alone.
- Volunteer with Sar-El at an army base, taking on logistical roles necessary to fill the void of the more than 350,000 Israelis serving in the IDF and reserves.
